Jawad has been teaching Qur'an for over a decade, currently serving as a Maktab teacher at the Islamic Foundation of Villa Park alongside his private Hifz and Qaidah tutoring, which he's carried on since 2018. He's led Hifz, Qaidah, and Tajweed programs for hundreds of students across Texas and Illinois — including a structured classroom at the Qur'an Institute of Dallas and a program serving roughly thirty students at Flowermound Masjid — building individualized memorization plans suited to students of every age and level.
He completed his own Hifz al-Qur'an at Darul Huda in New Jersey, holds an ijazah in the Jazariyyah — the centuries-old canonical poem on the rules of tajweed, memorized and studied by students of the Qur'an for generations — and a sanad in Hafs 'an 'Asim, and has continued traditional studies since at Darul Qasim. Alongside his Islamic studies, he holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington (2019). In 2021, he spent a year in rural Mauritania studying under Shaykh Muhammad Faal — memorizing and reviewing Qur'an in a setting with no electricity and no modern distraction, the kind of unbroken focus that shapes how he now hunts down the exact weak spot in a student's page. He's fluent in English, Bangla, and Classical Arabic.
